Torremolinos Spain Relaxing Town November 2023 Update Costa del Sol | Málaga [4K]

Torremolinos, an old fishing village located just 13 kilometres from Málaga is, today, a fantastic holiday destination if you’re looking for nice beaches, an excellent climate, good food and buzzing nightlife. This town has more than 68,000 inhabitants, 15,000 of which are foreigners who’ve been seduced by its charms.

In the fifties, a key decade for Torremolinos, it became one of the most popular destinations on the Costa del Sol. It enticed numerous foreigners, who were attracted by the town’s liberal character. Intellectuals of the time, artists and lots of members of the jet set enjoyed the sun during the day, and the animated evenings. This was the time of the famous cultural movement “movida malagueña.” Today, its nightlife is still legendary, thanks to the variety of beach bars and clubs where you can keep partying until dawn, most especially during the summer.

The Calle de San Miguel is the beating heart of the city where everything happens. It is a pedestrianised street lined with shops, which—at its end—gives out onto the promenade and the Playa de Bajondillo. Taking a stroll along San Miguel, you’ll come across the Molino de la Torre, a tower built in the fourteenth century, from which the guards of the Kingdom of Granada were defending the city, keeping guard from the excellent vantage point at the top of a cliff, protecting the city against the possible enemies who could attack from the sea. Today, it’s known as the Torre de Pimentel.

Lots of people say that Torremolinos has some of the best beaches in Málaga, thanks to both their length and their sand. One of the best known is the Playa del Bajondillo, located in the neighbourhood which it takes its name from, between Playamar and Playa de la Carihuela. 40 metres wide and more than a kilometre long, this beach is one of the most frequently visited thanks to how close it is to the city centre, and how easy it is to access. What’s more, it offers water sports, and you can enjoy a wonderfully relaxed beach day here.

La Carihuela Beach Torremolinos Spain Relaxing Day Update May 2023 Costa del Sol | Málaga [4K 60fps]

The Carihuela beach in Torremolinos extends from the beach of Bajondillo to the Marina of Benalmádena. The name of the beach pays homage to the old fishing district located in the Eastern part of the city, which is a cosmopolitan area filled with large number of entertainment venues and hotels today.

The beach has an area of 2100 meters long and 40 meters wide, with dark sand and has calm to moderate waves. Palm groves with natural grass are found near the promenade which provides pleasant shade and perfect for enjoy the hot summer days.

La Carihuela stands out for the number of nearby restaurants and beach bars where one can enjoy the typical fried fish and various dishes with exquisite taste.

Welcome to La Carihuela Beachch. In this 4k video, we are walking around La Carihuela, Torremolinos on a beautiful sunny day, 2nd of January 2022.

La Carihuela, a well-known Mediterranean resort, is known for its summer beach scene, which includes sophisticated Spanish sea-view restaurants as well as hut-like outdoor chiringuito cafes selling cool beer and traditional pescato fried fish.

Locals and tourists alike enjoy evening strolls along the waterfront, and Punta Gatuna’s craggy promontory offers a peaceful vantage point for watching the sun set. After dark, flashy modern dance clubs fill up.

On this 4k walking tour we visit the centre of La Carihuela, a pedestrian-only street full of shops and cafes. Then we take a walk on the promenade, checking out the bars, cafes and restaurants that this beautiful resort has to offer.

La Carihuela beach is a very popular tourist destination and if you plan to travel to Spain, and make your way to Costa del SOl, La carihuela is a very relaxing area where you can rent an apartment, or book a hotel room.

Los Boliches Fuengirola Spain Relaxing Town Summer 2022 September Update Costa del Sol | Málaga [4K]

With a history going back to Phoenician and Roman times, Los Boliches has been and still is a fishing village and hold strongly with its traditions. The site of archaeological remains of a salting factory is a reminder of Los Boliches’ rich historic past. The Museo de Historia, found near Bioparc Fuengirola tells the rich history of Los Boliches town and its neighborhood.

This place enjoys some of the finest beaches in Fuengirola. Both spacious and easily accessible to all. It is home to well-integrated year round residents, both Spanish and foreign alike.

The Parish Church of Carmen y Santa Fé, located at the Avenida de los Boliches, is the center of the neighborhood and it is from there that the Virgin is carried during the Fiesta Virgen del Carmen, held each year on the 16th of July.

The Monument to the Peseta, located on the Paseo Marítimo de Fuengirola was created by local artist and sculptor José Gómez Guerreo in 2007. It was the first monuted created dedicated to the old currency that disappeared in 2002 due to the introduction of the Euro.

Malaga City Port Spain Relaxing Afternoon Update October 2022 | Costa del Sol | Andalucía [4K]

Málaga port lies on the Costa del Sol coast of the Mediterranean. It is considered as the oldest continuously-operated port in Spain and one of the oldest in the Mediterranean.

A beautiful promenade lined with shops, restaurants and bars stretches out alongside Málaga’s port, forming the Muelle Uno mall, just a short walk from the city’s historical centre. During the weekends, local artisans and merchants share stalls at the Mercado Semanal, a local market selling different goods, handmade products and clothing. Enjoy the best of open-air shopping as you idly watch cruise liners come and go.

Different cafes and chill out bars can be found at Palmeral de las Sorpresas, the Pérgola de la Victoria is also located there. It can be easily seen due to its amazing awning structure with zig-zag style. It is in this area where most of the cruise ships dock.

Adjacent to the promenade lies an 18th-century Baroque church, Chapel of Muelle Uno, constructed from sandstone from a nearby quarry. As you continue along the marina, Muelle Uno extends to La Farola, the 38-metre-high 19th-century lighthouse of Málaga.

The Mediterranean resort town of Torremolinos in southern Spain’s Costa del Sol region is a sunseeker’s haven. In the 1950s, this former fishing village became one of the most popular destinations for sun-loving tourists. Stretches of dark, sandy beaches offer a multitude of watersports and beach activities, while the many bars, restaurants and local sights occupy holidaymakers.

Boasting an enviable mix of green spaces, cultural sights and coastal views, Torremolinos is an ideal destination for your next summer holiday. More than just warm Mediterranean coastline, the resort region has a rich blend of family activities as well as a beating nightlife for young travellers.

Torremolinos, just south of the central city of Malaga, has many amazing seafood restaurants and hotels along the waterfront La Carihuela village. The pedestrian-only Calle San Miguel is a bustling shopping district that leads directly to Playa Bajondillo.

Discover the bustling centre of Torremolinos Old Town that stretches from the seafront promenade. Starting along the section known as Paseo Maritimo del Bajondillo, make your way in toward the oldest section of the town to stroll along the pedestrianised Calle San Miguel. It’s lined with restaurants and bars, as well as shops ranging from jewellers and fashion boutiques to souvenir stores and delicatessens.

As you meander the streets, you’ll also cross paths with Parroquia de San Miguel Arcángel, an 18th-century Andalusian neoclassical-style church in a small square at the end of Calle San Miguel. Another historical point of interest is the only remaining trace of Torre de Pimentel (Tower of the Mills), which dates back to the 1300s.

Nerja is a municipality on the Costa del Sol in the Province of Málaga in the autonomous community of Andalucía in southern Spain. Located on the southern Mediterranean coast, about 50 kilometers east of Málaga.

During the Muslim rule, its name was Narixa, which means “abundant source” and is the origin of the current name of this town.

Sheltered by the impressive Sierra Almijara mountain range, Sierra Almijara, this former fishing village is now one of the most popular tourist resorts along the coast. Preferring to stay to its roots, this charming seaside town has resisted re-development and high-rise apartments, thus attracting more holidaymakers.

One of the town’s most spectacular attractions is the Balcón de Europa (the Balcony of Europe), a very impressive promenade that stretches along the edge of a soaring cliff top which was once the location of a Moorish castle. The platform has amazing panoramic views of the Mediterranean coastline, with its backdrop of mountains.

The old quarter of the town is still virtually unchanged with narrow, winding streets, whitewashed houses with wrought iron terraces overflowing with flowers such as geraniums, on which a canary can sometimes be heard singing.

Nerja has lots of beaches that boasts 16 kilometers of beaches with sparkling clear and calm water, and powdery sand. It is also equipped with many facilities and all major water sports activities are available along the coastline, such as water skiing, scuba diving and sailing to name a few.

Benalmadena Spain Relaxing Day Summer 2022 June Update Costa del Sol | Málaga [4K]

Benalmádena is one of the main tourist destinations on the Costa del Sol, famous for its leisure establishments, which include various amusement park, two aquariums, casino, a cable car, and one of the largest marinas in Andalucía.

Populated since the prehistoric times, Benalmádena underwent a remarkable development during the time of Muslim domination, a development that would later be paralyzed after its incorporation into the Crown of Castile in the year 1485, because of various natural distasters and the intense activity of the corsairs in the area. The cultivation of the vineyard and the paper industry would later reactivate the economy of Benalmádena during the 18th and 19th centuries, but the greatest demographic boom in its history would be caused by the growth of tourism from the second half of the 20th century.

The municipality’s population boom began in the 50s with the development of mass tourism on the Spanish coast. During the time many established hotel, restaurants and businesses were opened, among these were Hotel Triton (1961), Tivoli World amusement park (1973), Torrequebrada casino and hotel (1979), Selwo Aquarium, Sea Life Aquarium, Cable car, Hotel Alay, and Chollocasa real estate agency. In the early 21st century, many more businesses were constructed. Parque de la Paloma is a more recent addition to the attractions, a landscape park with a large lake where visitors can interact with animals.

The coastal area of Benalmádena is known by the name “Benalmádena Costa” and concentrates of the bulk of hotel establishments. The Benalmádena Marina is found here, as well as the promenade tha crosses the municipality from the limits with the neighboring municipalities.

Benalmádena Marina, most known as Puerto Marina is characterized by its particular architecture that has been recognized gloablly, especially among European tourists. It houses different establishments such as hotels, restaurants, nightclubs, shops, Maritime Captaincy, the Benalmádena Maritime Yacht Club, a luxury residential area, and the Sea Life Benalmádena aquarium.

Relaxing Night Torremolinos Promenade Walk. June 2022 Update- Malaga Costa Del Sol.

You will return to the Paseo Marítimo of Torremolinos time and time again. Such are the many sensations, smells and flavours that it will become one of your best experiences. What’s more, the area’s excellent climate will allow you to visit any time of year, whether in the summer to have a refreshing dip or in the winter to enjoy the brilliant rays of the sun, which will make you see why in Torremolinos this season turns into a beautiful and gentle spring. The Paseo Marítimo joins two ends of the municipality: from Saltillo beach to los Álamos beach, in the most easterly point of Torremolinos. It is easy to reach from almost every part of town: to get there, just head towards the sea. It’s divided into two stretches by the natural projections of Punta de Torremolinos, popularly known as El Morro.

Overall, it is a long promenade dotted with vegetation, perfect for walking, roller-skating or cycling along the bike lane. A route where you can savour the best fried fish in Malaga, thanks to the quality seaside restaurants, practice yoga on its grassy oasis in the shade of the palm trees, go running in the swash of the sea, do your favourite aquatic sport, enjoy a wine while enjoying the sunset or simply sit and listen to the relaxing wash of the waves while considering yourself lucky.
