La Carihuela is a beautiful area in Torremolinos and it is one of the oldest neighbourhoods of the Town.

There are many chiringuitos and shops closed on the Promenade of La Carihuela, but there is still some life, even in these days marked by travel restrictions.

I would like to show you guys La Carihuela, Torremolinos in the morning just when the stores and restaurants have opened. Here you can see that some of the stores and restaurants are temporarily closed because of the season, normally during summer La Carihuela is usually full of lots of people.

The fresh breeze is felt in the air as I walked by La Carihuela, there were people and some tourists passing by as well. That day was relaxing and peaceful.

We recorded this 4k ultra hd video during our trip to Malaga, Spain on July 2020.
Malaga city is a Mediterranean seaport on the Costa del Sol in the Andalusia region of southern Spain. With a population of 571,026 in 2018, it is the second-most populous city in Andalusia after Seville and the sixth most populous in Spain.
This birthplace of Picasso and Antonio Banderas is also famous for rich architectural history, Mediterranean cuisine, local wines and sandy beaches.
Our guided walking tour is about 4.66 miles (7.5 km) long, starts at La Malagueta Bullring, ends at Málaga Harbor and covers most attractions and historic sites of Malaga.

Torre del Mar – Walking Tour in November 2020, Malaga, Costa del Sol, Spain [4K]

Torre del Mar sits between the Mediterranean Sea and the Sierra Nevada mountains, making for spectacular views. Compared to much of the Costa del Sol, it has managed to retain a great deal of its authentic Spanish atmosphere, despite an increase in tourism. A long promenade along the water has clubs, excellent seafood restaurants, cafes and more, and the wide sandy beach is superb. The town is connected by tram to Velez-Malaga, which is worth visiting for its historic beauty and charm.

Ghost town? That’s what it looked like as we went down to the beach from the Old Town. The famous Calle San Miguel was still quite lively with most of the shops still opened and a few closing. There were also people having fun and enjoying their stay in the town. The autumn has arrived indeed. Everything seemed closed but perhaps they closed early. Most of the tourists have gone home. There was a rare feeling of emptiness. It felt so different from the usual busy and happy street. But still, we were able to appreciate the beauty of Torremolinos. And we are sure that we will be back soon!

Torremolinos is a municipality in Andalusia, southern Spain, west of Málaga. The old town of Torremolinos is built on a high hill with a gentle slope inland. On the seaward side of the old town is a shear high cliff, with houses, shopping centres, hotels, apartments. The main street of Torremolinos is the famous Calle San Miguel continues to the beach as Calle Cuesta del Tago.
