Malaga city is a Mediterranean seaport on the Costa del Sol in the Andalucia region of southern Spain. It is the 2nd most populous city in Andalucia, the 6th in Spain and more importantly, a significant tourist destination. This birthplace of Picasso is also famous for rich architectural history, Mediterranean cuisine, local wines and sandy beaches.
Malaga Christmas lights are one of the highlights of the festive period particularly those in Calle Larios and are world famous for their spectacular light and sound show. We expect the lights to go up, but the light and sound show will probably not happen in 2020.

The plaza near the train station is undergoing a huge renovation right now. As I ventured through town, I could see that many of the shops are shuttered and the streets look empty. Without tourists this part of Spain looks to be suffering greatly. Making my way to the beach on a warm fall’s day, I could only find a handful of beach goers about. Looks like Torremolinos is in real trouble from what I saw.

Lovely place to visit and have a walk around Benalmadena Puerto Marina. Plenty of nice boats to see, trips available, an abundance of cafes and bars to have a beverage.
In this video, you can see The Willow steamboat which has been moored at the marina since 1996 is sinking. It was built in 1925 in America, Willow is 65 feet abreast and 200 feet long…
