Fuengirola Spain Wonderful Town and Beach Summer 2022 June Update Costa del Sol | Málaga [4K]

Located between Málaga and Marbella, the Andalusian coastal town of Fuengirola is just about a 30 minute drive away from both cities. Offering a variety of activities for everyone, Fuengirola is a city that has experienced a huge change in the last couple of decades and is today more alive and vibrant than ever, especially in summer.

Fuengirola’s tourist journey started all the way back in the 1960s and today it is considered as one of the most popular holiday destinations on the Costa del Sol. The town was originally a fishing village, the center of which is the Plaza de la Constitución, although the old fishing village isn’t visible today due to the rise of modern high-rise apartments. The town has experienced extensive investment in order to make sure it still is a beautiful and compelling holiday destination.

Foreigners come to visit Fuengirola to take their chance to enjoy the wonderful Spanish beaches and the rich and delicious gastronomy the region offers.

Marbella Spain Wonderful City Update May 2022 Costa del Sol | Málaga [4K]

A protagonist in the early Spanish industrial revolution in the 19th century, Marbella has indeed experienced continuous growth throughtout the 20th century and the beginning of the 21st century, developing an economy based on the tourist offers aimed at visitors and temporary residents of medium and high purchasing power.

Marbella is one of the most important tourist cities on Costa del Sol and in all of Spain. Most of the year it is a center of attraction for international tourism thanks mainly to its climate and its tourist infrastructures. The city also has a significant archaeological heritage, several museums and performance spaces as well as cultural calendar with events ranging from reggae to the opera.

The old town of Marbella confines the old walled enclosure and the two historic suburbs of the city: the Barrio Alto which extends to the north and the Barrio Nuevo which is located to the east. The Plaza de los Naranjos, which is an examples of Castilian Renaissance urbanism, constitutes the nerve center of the town. Around the square there are three notable buildings – the town hall, built by the Catholic Monarchs; the Corregidor’s house, with Gothic – Mudejar and Renaissance façade; and the Ermita de Santiago which is the oldest religious temple in the city.

Connecting the old town and the sea, lie Paseo de la Alameda where a small botanical garden is found, and the Avenida del Mar – a garden path with fountains and a collection of ten sculptures of Salvador Dalí. The Constitution Park which house the auditorium of the same name is found to the west side of the road, passing the Marbella Lighthouse. The Skol Apartments can be found there as well.

One of the main tourist destinations on the Costa del Sol, Benalmádena is famous for its leisure establishments such as amusement parks, casino, aquariums, and one of the largest marinas in Andalucía.

The municipality’s population boom started in the 1950s with the development of mass tourism of the coast of Spain. At the time several established hotels, restaurants an businesses were opened. In the early 21st century, many more businesses were constructed.

Benalmádena has lots of great beaches and a wide variety of services and accommodations for every holidaymaker. Many restaurants and bars serve food from all over the world are present in the area. Chiringuitos or local seafood restaurants on the seaside are also famous! The relaxed, amiable and cill vibes all year makes it one of the most beloved destinations for families.
