Located between Málaga and Marbella, the Andalusian coastal town of Fuengirola is just about a 30 minute drive away from both cities. Offering a variety of activities for everyone, Fuengirola is a city that has experienced a huge change in the last couple of decades and is today more alive and vibrant than ever, especially in summer.

Fuengirola’s tourist journey started all the way back in the 1960s and today it is considered as one of the most popular holiday destinations on the Costa del Sol. The town was originally a fishing village, the center of which is the Plaza de la Constitución, although the old fishing village isn’t visible today due to the rise of modern high-rise apartments. The town has experienced extensive investment in order to make sure it still is a beautiful and compelling holiday destination.

Foreigners come to visit Fuengirola to take their chance to enjoy the wonderful Spanish beaches and the rich and delicious gastronomy the region offers.
