La Carihuela Torremolinos Spain Wonderful Day October 2023 Update Costa del Sol | Málaga [4K]

La Carihuela is a favorite among tourists and offers pleasant sea views and dramatic rock formations. An old fishing village that is a beautiful area filled with picturesque simple house and bourganvillea clad patios where old men play dominoes and drink anis.

Clear and shallow waters are ideal for swimming here at La Carihuela. Just like most of the beaches along this expanse of coastline, its dark sand is great for various beach sports activities including volleyball.

Popular of all the beaches in Torremolinos, the sandy shores of this beach quickly fill through the height of summer due to the proximity to the major resorts in the region. Chiringuitos, restaurants and bars with wide range of gastronomic offerings are plentiful along the promenade, shops and play areas for children are present too.

La Carihuela’s characteristics and services makes it one of the most desirable places to relax and enjoy. It is indeed an authentic paradise for all the senses.

Neighbours pay tribute to British father and two children who drowned in Costa del Sol | ITV News

Neighbours have paid tribute to the British father and his two children who drowned in a swimming pool at a holiday resort in the Costa del Sol.

Gabriel Diya, 52, his daughter Comfort Diya, 9, and his son Praise-Emmanuel Diya, 16, are understood to have died in the triple tragedy on Christmas Eve.

A neighbour of the Diya family said she was “really devastated” to learn of the deaths of Mr Diya and two of his children.

Spain: 'A complete mess' – British expats stage anti-Brexit protest in Malaga

Roughly a hundred British citizens living in the southern Spanish city of Malaga held an anti-Brexit protest on Sunday.

Demonstrators were seen gathering in the city’s central Constitution Square with banners and posters, wrapping themselves in European flags and calling on the UK government to revoke Article 50; the mechanism by which a country announces its intention to leave the EU according to the Lisbon Treaty.

“These people are here because we don’t know what our future holds, we live in a foreign country, we work here, we pay taxes, we vote here. What happens to us now? It’s just a complete mess and it is infuriating that we have no say in who’s leading our country, in what’s going to happen to our rights,” said Harriet Paulet, a British resident in Malaga.

Many voiced their concerns about their future and the insecurity surrounding the UK withdrawal from the EU, as they fear they could be stripped of many of the rights they enjoy in their host country if Brexit comes into force without a deal on October 31.

The rally was also supported by the Spanish residents in a sign of solidarity with the British community.

Thanks for finding my video and pressing play!

In this video, I take a British Airways Airbus A320 between Malaga Costa del Sol Airport and London Gatwick, in their Club Europe business class cabin.

Unbeknown to me, this flight took place on the first day of British Airways’ brand new Club Europe service. This “new” service has some winners and losers compared to the previous regime, but fortunately this flight’s one of the ones which has seen a significant improvement! Previously, this 1130 departure would have been a brunch flight, attracting only a cold continental meat plate. Now, there is a full lunch, with three courses (including a very tasty starter!).

Overall, this flight was a pleasant surprise, with significant improvements over what I was expecting.
