La Carihuela Torremolinos Spain Wonderful Day October 2023 Update Costa del Sol | Málaga [4K]

La Carihuela is a favorite among tourists and offers pleasant sea views and dramatic rock formations. An old fishing village that is a beautiful area filled with picturesque simple house and bourganvillea clad patios where old men play dominoes and drink anis.

Clear and shallow waters are ideal for swimming here at La Carihuela. Just like most of the beaches along this expanse of coastline, its dark sand is great for various beach sports activities including volleyball.

Popular of all the beaches in Torremolinos, the sandy shores of this beach quickly fill through the height of summer due to the proximity to the major resorts in the region. Chiringuitos, restaurants and bars with wide range of gastronomic offerings are plentiful along the promenade, shops and play areas for children are present too.

La Carihuela’s characteristics and services makes it one of the most desirable places to relax and enjoy. It is indeed an authentic paradise for all the senses.

  1. Lee – can you ( ir anybody else) please tell me if mobility scooters can be hired in Torremolinos/Benalmadena? I would love to be able to do that walk, but it's just too far for my hubby and me, especially in the heat. Another great vlog, thankyou.

  9. Brits and local culture and food are NOT a good mix. Unless you look for local food.

  13. Although I've often commented about you never trying local food on your Spanish breaks i have to say that Scottish owned and run place served you with an excellent breakfast. Personally I'd ditch the horrible squashy runny tinned tomatoes and ask them to be replaced by a second slice of black pudding. I much prefer the firm tomatoes I buy from the village shop two doors from my home in Romania. Incidentally, the sausages I've had with the occasional meal here have always been proper sausages with a much higher meat content than British sausages including butcher's sausages.

  14. “The jammy olive” cafe in calahonda, mijas, you’ll find the best sausages ever in spain for a fry up ! No catering sausages there ! You will be passing when you go to Gibraltar

  15. HP sauce is now made by Heinz in the Netherlands, apparently Hammonds brown sauce made in Yorkshire is very popular up north.
