En la segunda mitad, ambos equipos tuvieron ocasiones para llevarse la victoria. Alfonso Herrero evitó el segundo de Aubameyang con una gran intervención, mientras que Chupe estuvo muy cerca de completar su doblete con un remate al larguero. Finalmente, reparto de puntos en La Rosaleda entre dos equipos que volvieron a mostrar su capacidad ofensiva en su regreso a la máxima categoría.
