Benalmádena is a town located between Fuengirola and Torremolinos, with lots of great beaches and a wide variety of services and accommodation for the tourists. Benalmádena Costa is home to the majority of the area’s attractions most importantly the golden sandy beaches. Many restaurants and bars serving food from all over the world are present in the area. Chiringuitos or local seafood restaurants on the beach are famous in the area. The friendly, relaxed and chill atmosphere all year makes it one of the most beloved destinations for families.

Benalmádena indeed has everything like top-quality beaches, the modern and outstanding Puerto Marina, a Casino located in Torrequebrada, several golf courses, amusement parks such as Tivoli World and Holiday World Beach Club, and plenty of attractions like Sea Life, Parque de la Paloma, and Butterfly Garden making sure that all visitors have an unforgettable experience during their stay.

At the Benalmádena beach you can visit the Castle El Bil-Bil, an Arabic style building, which is adorned with fountains and is decorated according to Nazari tradition. Another building of great interest in Benalmádena is the Castle of Colomares, dedicated to the discovery of America. This construction creates a grand visual impact by combining all architectural styles.

Stayed here about 20 years ago. Was a decent hotel with great staff. Food was good also. Liked the location as well.

It’s empty so looks like low season

Coming back for the 3rd time in May, I've seen them cut that grass, pretty sure it's not astro turf.

I always feel bad central ducted A,C is more efficient than the split units.

UV Lights are misleading as lots of cleaning products show up under them too.

2nd vist it wasnt as good as last yr food appauling for veggies & others also complained & eat out every eve & it aint cheap i paid 1490 1 child 1 adult 7days plus & a grand & half in spends its an old hotel but entertainments good & animition team are ace just food a let down we did half board.

I live not too far from the Gardenia. It was one of the hotels I repped at one summer – and yano, I'd recommend it to anyone.

No, it's not a 5 star, and you get what you pay for – keep that in mind. It may be 'basic', but it was clean and tidy and the staff were amazing – Some of the best I've worked with on the Costa del Sol

And that dinner buffet was always full of variety and plenty of it.

If you wanted, the hotel is handy for trains and buses to get out and see something different close by.

And important to add – that thumbnail is grossly unfair to the hotel – it's been photoshopped, it's misleading, inaccurate and is used as clickbait.

If you consider yourselves as honest 'travel bloggers', with a neutral opinion of what you experience, then it should be changed to reflect the truth without delay!

The chicken, chips, rice n potatoes looked nice, I take it you dont like veg then 🙂. The veg actually looked nice aswell.

As long as it's clean for that price I wouldn't care about cosmetic things, I think that's a good deal.

We got a week in October coming for two all inclusive to Majorca for 759. 3 star with two pools. Pics are lovely and checked trip advisor and so far so good. Go off peak for better offers.

Typical Irish. Cheap flights. Cheap hotel. Cheap food. Cheap accent. Did you live in the hotel for the holidays you cheapskates. Why would you even bother going on a holiday if that's the case. Looks like an old folks home. Now I'm rambling because I'm from Ireland too but I'm in Bari in Italy at the moment and have not seen the hotel since I checked in and won't see again until tonight. I hope you enjoyed your prison stay.
