Benalmadena is a municipality in the province of Malaga consisting of three main areas: Benalmadena Pueblo, Benalmadena Costa and Arroyo de la Miel. The city of Malaga (and the nearest airport) is about 12 km to the west, and Marbella is 42 km to the east. The area has grown rapidly in recent decades due to tourism and has become one of the Costa del Sol’s prime holiday spots.

Been here since 21st March and the weather has been awful, galeforce winds driving rain and sand everywhere.
