La Carihuela is a favorite among tourists and offers pleasant sea views and dramatic rock formations. An old fishing village that is a beautiful area filled with picturesque simple house and bourganvillea clad patios where old men play dominoes and drink anis.

Clear and shallow waters are ideal for swimming here at La Carihuela. Just like most of the beaches along this expanse of coastline, its dark sand is great for various beach sports activities including volleyball.

Popular of all the beaches in Torremolinos, the sandy shores of this beach quickly fill through the height of summer due to the proximity to the major resorts in the region. Chiringuitos, restaurants and bars with wide range of gastronomic offerings are plentiful along the promenade, shops and play areas for children are present too.

La Carihuela’s characteristics and services makes it one of the most desirable places to relax and enjoy. It is indeed an authentic paradise for all the senses.

Wie sich der Titel einer Komposition in Musik umwandeln lässt, wird bei diesem Stück sehr schön gezeigt. Sprechen Sie einmal „Costa del Sol” rhythmisch nach und betrachten Sie die Einleitung der Komposition. Die Silben passen genau zu der Musik. Natürlich gibt es zu der Musik auch eine kleine Geschichte: Bei einem Urlaub auf „Spaniens Sonnenbalkon“ (freie Übersetzung von „Costa del Sol“) hat der Komponist in einem Restaurant bei Paella und Rotwein mehrfach den Ruf „Costa del Sol“ gehört. Dadurch entstand das musikalische Motiv. Nach Sonnenuntergang konnte man entweder durch die romantisch beleuchteten Gassen gehen oder das rege Nachtleben genießen. Beides ist in die Komposition eingeflossen. Die Trompeter dürfen gerne auch hervortreten und ein charakteristisches „vibrato“ demonstrieren. Sie haben also bei „Costa del Sol” viele Möglichkeiten, mit Ihrem Publikum auf Urlaubsreise zu gehen. Ab nach Spanien !
