This film features views taken on a walk from the centre of Torremolinos on Spain’s Costa Del Sol to the Plaza Mayor Shopping Centre, next to Malaga Airport. The film features views of the infrastructure, streets, buildings, artwork, beaches, sea, incoming aircraft, and finally the colourful and attractive shopping centre. this walk was approximately 5 miles long.

Identified features and locations include the following: Calle San Miguel, Las Mercedes, Junction of Av. del Lido & Paseo Maritimo, Views along Paseo Maritimo, View to the Mijas Mountains from Camino la Cizaña, Parador Malaga del Golf, Beneath the MA-20 Highway, and Views around Centro Commercial Plaza Mayor.

Malaga ist die zweitgrößte Stadt in Andalusien und gleichzeitig die Hauptstadt der Provinz Malaga. Die Stadt besitzt einen der größten spanischen Flughäfen, einen Handelshafen und eine Universität. Sie ist aufgrund ihres Klimas eines der wichtigsten Urlaubsziele der Iberischen Halbinsel.

Malaga wurde ca. im 8. Jahrhundert vor Christus von den seefahrenden Phöniziern gegründet.

Zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten gehört unter anderem die maurische Festung aus dem 11. Jahrhundert, die Kathedrale, das Geburtshaus von Pablo Picasso, die Stierkampfarena, der Botanische Garten und der Fischmarkt.

Die Costa del Sol ist eine Küste im Süden Spaniens. Die Costa del Sol grenzt im Westen an Gibraltar und im Osten an die Costa Tropical in der Provinz Granada. Das subtropische Klima sorgt ganzjährig für angenehme Temperaturen und die Küste ist zusätzlich durch Bergketten vor Nordwinden geschützt. Seit den 1960er Jahren entwickelte sich die Costa del Sol dank des Klimas und der mehr als 320 Sonnentage pro Jahr zu einem beliebten internationalen Tourismusziel. Bekannte Städte an der Costa del Sol sind Malaga, Torremolinos, Benalmadena, Fuengirola, Marbella und Estepona.

I saw some amazing supercars in Puerto Banus, Marbella in July 2014 like an Arab Ferrari 458 Spider, convoying with a matte blue Mercedes C63 AMG, a Pagani Zonda S in the TopCar Showroom and a Novitec Ferrari 458 Italia, from Knightsbridge, London, spitting flames, along with many more amazing supercars.

Review: Marconfort Beach Club Hotel, Torremolinos, Andalusia, Spain – April 2014

On an Easter break to the Costa Del Sol, I stayed at the Marconfort Beach Club hotel All-Inclusive, located on the Mediterranean Sea front in the La Colina area of Torremolinos.

This video features my review of the hotel, including the exterior, reception, lobby, lifts, a detailed room review of 1023, which whilst a decent room was very noisy due to it being next to the cleaner’s office. The film then features the bars, restaurant, examples of the food, the swimming pools, gym and crazy golf.

The film ends with a reflection of my time at the hotel, which is overall positive, apart from the noisy room I was in. If you are thinking of staying at this hotel, watch this video as it gives advice about the room layout, and this is something you may want to consider before arrival.
