Benalmádena Costa, as the name suggest is the 10km coastal strip of Benalmádena municipal district. Benalmádena Costa runs along the sea front between Torremolinos and Fuengirola.

The town of Benalmádena covers an area of almost 30 kilometres and extends from the Sierra de Mijas down to the coastline of the Mediterranean.

Situated between the towns of Torremolinos and Fuengirola, Benalmádena is just 19 kilometres from Málaga Airport and is connected to all of the coast’s major resorts by the local train and bus services.

Rich in beautiful and attractive beaches, gardens, theme parks and a stunning marina, Benalmádena is one of the most popular tourist resorts on the Costa del Sol.

The population of nearly seventy thousand is concentrated in three main centres: Benalmádena Pueblo, Arroyo de la Miel and Benalmádena Costa.

Benalmádena Costa is one of the most cosmopolitan areas on the coast and famed for an abundance of British bars and restaurants. The heart of the resort is the extensively equipped Puerto Marina and there one will find dozens of restaurants and bars serving food from all corners of the world. One will be spoilt for choice in the Marina, there are steak houses, pasta and pizza trattorias and noodle bars mixed with traditional fish and seafood restaurants.

Benalmádena Puerto Marina rates amongst the best in the world, proof of which is the fact that it is several times winner of the ‘Best Marina in the World’ award. With 1,100 moorings for boats of all nationalities and up to 6 meters long, Benalmadena Port – ‘Puerto Marina’ is one of the Costa del Sol’s busiest centres by day and night.
