Torremolinos in Spain is one of the most popular resorts on the Costa del Sol. It is famous for a wide strip of clean beaches, as well as a light and cheerful atmosphere that attracts tourists from all over the world. This resort is also loved by Hollywood stars, including Sean Connery and Brigitte Bardot.

The coastal structure of Torremolinos is divided into two parts – in the east beach area of ​​​​Bajondillo, and in the west old fishing village, – La Carihuela. The beaches mostly consist of dark sand and are separated by a small rocks. Along them there are many hotels, hostels, campsites, restaurants, cafes and souvenir shops. Behind lively Bajondillo are the beaches of Los Alamos and Playamar. The long, gentle entrance to the sea on these beaches is convenient for inexperienced swimmers and children. All beaches in the resort are urban and therefore free.
The sun in Torremolinos shines for more than 150 days a year, and the average daily temperature does not fall below 25 °C.

In this video, we shot the Torremolinos Half Marathon in 4k (Media Maraton) at the 16 km mark. A total of 1200 people took part in this half marathon on Sunday the 5th of February. The popular street race has been running for 33 years and 25 per cent of the runners were foreign, with many being British runners. The Men’s category was won by Javier Arcas From Antequera with a time of 1:09:35. The women’s category was won by Amanda Lanetoft from London with a time of 1:26:59. Torremolinos is located on The Costa Del Sol in Southern Spain it is a wonderful town to hold a half marathon, the scenery is beautiful and the sea breeze gives some relief from the heat.
