6. I took Latin and Spanish in high school, and then again in college. I tried Italian after that in college and was so confused and bad at it that I ended up dropping the class. I kept getting words mixed up. And my poor Italian prof would mark things like "This is the Latin ending…." or "This was the Spanish translation…." Oops. My brain can only handle 2 (well three for English) languages.

   The switching between languages it was very hard to me when I arrived in Paris. Since I speak catalonian it was messy inside my head: spanish, catalonian and french, and english too haha.
   Y ahora un poco en español, para hacerte practicar. ¡Qué sol! Bueno, no hace falta que te explique la tonalidad gris parisina. Es una cosa que echo mucho de menos de España, ese cielo azul y esos días luminosos. Reconozco que me has dado envidia con ese desayuno andaluz.
   Disfruta de tus días en Málaga ¡come todo lo que puedas! 🙂

9. I thought the cherimoya was what we have here called atis. But apparently they are not the same thing, although they are closely related: Annona cherimola vs. Annona squamosa. Atis originated from Mexico and was brought and cultivated here in the Philippines, being a Spanish colony at the time, via the Galleon Trade. I'm guessing they taste similar?

10. Is this true that the brain thinks "native language or other language"? I want to learn spanish but I'm afraid to mix it up with french because thag happened to me yers ago with Italian and french. But your fact reassures me that now my french is better, it maybe will work out?

11. ILLA, KÉ TA'CIENDOOO! (aka "chiquilla, qué estás haciendo?", aka "girl, whatchu doing?" lol ), that's Andalucía for you, loud and intrusive and adorable, I miss living in Sevilla so so much, and malaga is great!!
