15 gedachten over “Buying Property on the Costa del Sol? 2026 Guide to Prices, ROI & Best Locations

  1. Great overview of the coast. Worth a mention that inland towards Velez Malaga and the Axarquia, prices per m2 drop noticeably compared to Marbella or Mijas, and you get proper rural plots with a pool and garden rather than a small apartment for the same budget.

  2. Playa Marina (between El Faro and La Cala de Mijas) is an up and coming area. Building many new upscale to luxury complexes.

  3. Costa del Sol is very expensive now. You maybe can find a smaller, older house than needs renovation or has hidden issues in-town without parking but any thing decent now is well over 300,000€-$400,000. I’ve bern looking for two years. Decent places for reasonable prices are scooped up by investors and real estate agents.

  4. Hello Izidor, I am disabled and use an electric mobility scooter and electric wheelchair to get around. I also play wheelchair tennis and pickleball. Is Torre Del Mar a good place to rent or buy for me? I would be retiring there in Malaga in about 7 years.

  5. Surprised you didn’t mention Elviria which is where I’m moving to in April.

  6. The best tennis club on the Costa is just above Estepona, up in the hills, Club de Tenis de Estepona. Also Bel Aire between Puerto Banus and Estepona.

  7. Estepona the only place worth considering ….Sotogrande …for people who want "privacy". more like people who want to live in a bloody prison cut off from everything

  8. not while spain is in the EU because once spain becomes cashless, people with money will leave.

  9. What do you think of the Manilva area as an property investment and as a place to live?

  10. Thanks I learned a lot from this, I am exploring where would be a good place to invest and also enjoy life. I visited few cities my own but with a professional team working with will help.
