We visit Nerja Spain. We’ve been to this stunning holiday destination before but had to return to see the stunning scenery from the Balcon De Europa (balcony of europe) looking out at the beach and the sea.

A holiday on the Costa Del Sol is always welcome but when you get to visit Nerja and wander the little shopping streets, the beach, the balcon de europa and the little cafes, bars and restaurants it makes it even better!

A trip to Nerja must be on any holidaymakers list when visiting the Costa Del Sol in Spain. It really is a stunning place and a must see beach. It not only has must-visit beaches with crystal clear waters but impressive attractions like Balcón de Europa viewpoint and the Nerja Caves

Nerja is mainly known for its natural beauty, and walking along the Rio Chillar is one of the best opportunities to soak up the gorgeous nature of Spain’s southern coast. Admire the magnificent rock walls, wade through the crystal clear water and dip in one of the pools as a reward for your hike.

Nerja is located on the eastern edge of the Costa del Sol, 68.7 km from Malaga Airport. It takes around 45 minutes to drive from Malaga Airport to Nerja via the A-7 toll-free motorway.

With over 700 meters of sandy beach, a boardwalk and a variety of services, Burriana is the most popular beach in Nerja. The beach is well filled in the summer by residents and tourists. On the beautiful beach promenade, you will find restaurants, bars, cafes and shops for a carefree stay.

Surrounded by lush vegetation, clear waters and fine golden sand, Carabeillo beach is quite a sight and should be high on any visitors to Nerja’s list. For facilities and refreshments, you can walk up to a kiosk, bars and restaurants as well as take a short walk to Burriana beach.

Situated around 50 kilometres east of Málaga, in the Axarquía area, Nerja sits between the peaks of the Sierra Almijara and the Mediterranean Sea.
