Torremolinos is a municipality in the province of Malaga that in recent years has become one of the preferred locations on the Costa del Sol. Apart from enjoying the sea and the sand, travelers have the opportunity to visit the fishing district of “La Carihuela” and taste its local cuisine, which includes fried fish, the most famous dish in the region, in hundreds of restaurants and bars.

Spring season is here! That means warmer temperature and more sun! I took the liberty to come back to Torremolinos Old Town to see the latest. You may think that I’m doing the same thing again twice this month but this time it’s a bit different. In this video you will see Torremolinos in great weather condition, unlike my previous video 20 days ago.

All the orange trees welcomed me as I started walking to the Plaza de la Independencia. I’ve noticed more restaurants were closed now than before. I’m not sure if they were permanently closed but maybe just for this season. I hope they reopen soon!

More people come to the Plaza Costa del Sol to grab some drinks with their friends, and enjoy the heat and sun. More restaurants are open in this area. Plaza Andalucía has less people compared to the last time I went there but most of the restaurants are open for business as well.

The ever busy Calle San Miguel is always a delight with most of the shops and bars open in the area. If you love shopping then don’t forget to check on the shops! Heladería San Miguel is now open again for those who have sweet tooth. There were live music in the area as I passed by some performers on the street.

Plaza de la Nogalera is still being renovated. Hopefully this will be over soon. I’m really looking forward to the new Plaza de la Nogelera. Walking further we’ve reached Plaza San Miguel which was empty during the time of this recording. In the area, there were less businesses open. I hope when the summer comes, it’ll be more lively.

Along Calle Santos Arcángeles lies the Cementerio de Torremolinos, this is my first time passing by that street. I actaully didn’t know there was a cemetery there. See? Everyday we explore and learn new things.

I ended my tour at Calle Brasil where the Hotel Ritual is located. Hotel Ritual is an adult-only special hotel in Torremolinos. This was requested by one of my subscribers so I had to check it out. Arriving at the location, I saw that it was closed. I hope when the summer comes, it’ll be open again! But I enjoyed discovering new streets as I go along the recording!
