Missed this place so much recently !.
No mention of fish alley or the large Scandanavian, Finnish and British ex pat population.The castle was attacked by the British Navy from Gibralter.. It is only 1 of 2 navy defeats for the British. There were actually Polish Soldiers in thecastle besides Spanish, Arab and Irish. They captured the British guns and the commander. His sword is now in Poland. The polish soldiers perished defending Vienna against the Arab crusade that had captured Granada. Unfortunatly the current local Goverment works against ex pat community. And wants all foreign businesses gone. Huge fines are sent daily to many many businesses. We Europeans are fed up payingforthis..no more! Its Covid provides that opportunaity. In the next 2-3 years Southern Spain will suffer economical disaster. Many have left. More will leave in the next 3 months.Then you can enjoy looking at empty hotels and beaches. Its true
