Here I am walking in Nerja, Spain (Andalucia) from 2 beautiful beaches to its busy shopping, dining and bar streets on an afternoon in October 2021. Nerja, which lies in the Málaga Costa del Sol area, is one of the best places for taking vacation in Spain. You will get an amazing view over the Mediterranean sea at the balcony of Europe (Balcón de Europa), where our walking tour ends, and also see the El Salvador Church. Nerja is a municipality on the Costa del Sol in the province of Málaga in the autonomous community of Andalusia in southern Spain. It is part of the comarca of La Axarquía and famous for its Balcón de Europa. This spot is one of the most popular places in Andalucía, perfect to take a photo of the sea, or with the statue of the late king Alfonso XII who actually named this balcony after the big earthquake that hit Nerja in 1884. It has also many beautiful sandy beaches and breathtaking surrounding villages like for example Frigiliana, which I filmed before.
