The Atarazanas Market is the central market of Malaga and it is an important part of the city’s history. The building was built in the 14th century and served as a shipyard with 7 elaborate arches surrounding its exterior. Today, only one arch remains and resembles a combination of Moorish architecture and 19th-century industrial design.
The Atarazanas Market is one of the most important shopping centres in the city where every day the people of Malaga come to buy fresh produce, one of the hallmarks of this market. Many of the visitors come for the tapas and fresh “pescaíto” (typical small fried fish) in the bars in the market, or just to stroll through this building which has been able to preserve its traditional essence.

Such a lovely place.. just a shame that its full of Lucky Lucky African selling illegal Bags Hats and Drugs. I wouldn't want to go there for a holiday it's like being in Senegal. Such a shame .

I took my parents to this market a couple of years ago when I lived in Malaga. We all loved it.
This is where you get the best and the freshest goods.

Very nice thank´s , if you see Huelin market .. it´s too much popular, little noisy , many pepole but very cheap … they try to finish every thing, all fish and fruits and vegetables m, and may be sreet market with a lot of discount , many bars all aroud to take breakfast or eat fish , Bye bye
