   You missed a trick by not checking out the Carihuela area of Torremolinos. Probably our favourite part of a lovely city 👍🏿

9. Never wanted to go to the Costa del Sol especially Torremolinos because of its tacky 70’s reputation, until we had a cheap break there 10 years ago. Been about 20 times since. Great vibe. Chilled cosmopolitan atmosphere. Going again next week.

10. Has a very nice beach. Quite a walk to get there though.
    Went there with a male friend.
    Not knowing anything about the area I was suprised to see its a 50% same sex nightlife area.
    Wont be going back.

    I prefer the Alicante province.

11. We did two weeks in May staying at the Riu Costa del Sol hotel we've been going to Costa del Sol for the last 20 years and love every minute of it, back again next year after our cruise around the Mediterranean 🚢

12. I was there last month, my hotel was beside Lena where you had your breakfast. Going back in September for another few days of beach time!

13. There is a lift (€)🤭 from the beach to near the street you walked down to get there, saving the stairs back up. Depends where you want to be on the way back up, it's sign posted. To be honest I'm really enjoying seeing all these places through your eyes as we live 20 minutes away.

16. Been many time to The Costa Del Sol. Calle San Miguel is the main street across from Bar Jerez & you stopped at Casa De Sherlock Holmes Irish Bar.

18. We were there in March, loved it, even if it rained half the time. Those steps are a nightmare after a few scoops. I think the lift only operates for part of the year. We're going again in October, but on the Benalmádena end of the promenade.

19. The crocheted/knitted squares on trees and lamp posts etc. is called yarn-bombing. 13th June is International Knitting in Public Day. There'll be crocheted awnings all over the place soon.
    Alhaurín de la Torre has just gifted one to its twin town, New Iberia in Louisiana.
    Torremolinos was one of the first Spanish tourist destinations and still has a very authentic international vibe. There are residents from all over Spain and the world.
    You can walk right along the prom from where Torremolinos starts to more or less where Benalmádena ends.
    It's a very vibrant place all year round.
    There are also train stops close to the beach end.
    A suggestion: try the Spanish bars and restaurants.
    And the British and Irish pubs.

Great video as usual; we have finalized our itinerary for end of August as follows: fly into Malaga; 2 days in Mijas Pueblo, 2 days in Salobrena, 2 days in Torrox, 2 days in Marabella old town, 3 days in Ronda (visiting Sentenil las Bodegas and Zahara as well) 3 days in Gaucin (visiting Estapona and Gibraltar) and 2 nights in the castle hotel in Ronda then fly out of Malaga! If you guys are around we will buy you lunch or dinner!
