Every hardened adventurer needs a place to call home, or at least somewhere to call their own. Final Fantasy 7 has one piece of property available for purchase, a villa in Costa Del Sol. No negotiation possible – take it or leave it, this place costs 300,000 gil! However, by the start of disk 2, you have hopefully been mastering and selling enough All materias to make that mere change.
Now there is very little reward in actually making this purchase. Sure you can rest for free here but that means having to return to the Sol each time you wish to do so, but hey – what else are we going to spend our money on?

Disc 1 confirmed. Just bought the property right after getting the buggy.
I bought the villa as soon as I could on disc one…and then slapped myself silly because of who was on the beach. Lol
Got on disc 1, after farmin at junon and selling a master all materia for 1700000
I didn't know you could do that! 😂 I am curious to see how they will implement this feature in the remaster version of the game!
You can do it on any stage as long as you have the money. I've used the Gameshark code for infinite gil and bought this the first time getting to the town.
I hope they add this in the remake, but add other perks to having it
Yes but even with over 5.5 million gil i had unspent before fighting palmer in rocket town on disc 1 i'd rather spend 300,000 gils worth of hp and mp plus and not spend it on the worthless villa at all.
DESPITE Already Having The GIL(From Farming Those "Cactuars" In The Outer Corel Prison Desert For 1,300,000 GIL Alone), I Actually Waited Until When TIFA Leads The Team To BUY It Then. Not That It Changes Anything(You'd THINK That It Would Then Become "Villa Tifa" Or "Villa Cid"!) I Just Wanted To Buy It AS Her XD Aside From FREE-REST And A Nice Scene, It ORIGINALLY Had ANOTHER Purpose: Those Items "1/35 Soldier", "Masamune Blade", And "Super Sweeper" Were Supposed To Appear SOMEWHERE IN The Villa. They Either SCRAPPED IT, Or It's Just A LITTLE HIDDEN Part Of The Villa Where They Are STORED. And YES, The Villa Can Be BOUGHT ANYTIME In The GAME From When You First Arrive At Costa Del Sol! In Addition, The Game NEVER LOCKS YOU OUT OF Getting It Either.
When I used to play FF7 on PS1 back then I had the Xplorer cheat cartridge thing and so I would always use the cheat for unlimited gil. So I always used the buy the villa on disc 1 as soon as I got to Costa Del Sol. I was like 12 years old and thought I was great lol! 😛

Rest for free? if average rest inn costs 100g … you'd have to rest 3000 times

If you stay at the villa Cloud wakes up and appears in the bathroom… The only time you see him actually take care of personal hygiene! Lol. You may want to show the "infinite elixir glitch" in the northwest cave of the icefields?
