20 gedachten over “BEST Place to LIVE on the COSTA DEL SOL | 6 Top Cities Compared for Expats & Retirees

  1. Wow! The work you both put into this video is priceless information—thank you very much—Terrific job! I was considering moving to Costa del Sol over Lisbon Portugal, so this was massively helpful in my research. I have been following you for a few years now—and IMO, you two should have a lot more subscribers with all the genius real world , travel information shared! All the best!

  2. Great video …we coming to visit Andulusia in February….been a few times before . We based in Malaga and Jerez and we rely on bus or shuttles. Can you please recommend a pueblo blanco ….thinking of Arcos , vejer de frontera …looking for an authentic experience, walks, churches and a bit of a vib .

Thank you in advance . Your views resonate with me so I trust your advise . Have done Seville and Cadiz

  3. Hope everyone on here realises the tax-hell that you have let yourselves in for … just dont say you were not warned ….

  4. Visiting the donkey sanctuary is fantastic… but please do not promote the donkey taxi… use the TUK TUK !

  5. East Costa del sol, Nerja. Beautiful coastal area.

  6. Just living i/ visiting n that area of Spain is just wonderful All of the areas are really good. However to my mind the very best area to live is Arroyo De La Miel. Arroyo, an area of Benalmadena. It is about 15 mins from the airport. It is popular with both Spanish and Tourists. The Brits that have found it are not the rowdy element. It has plenty of amenities, shops, bars , restaurants and it is very safe. On top of that there is always something going on – from Harley Davidson meets to celebrating Chinese New Year. The religious festivals are among the best on the Costa. If you want a bit of honky tonk then Bonanza Square id close by. A little further you have the Marina , and the Promenade. Being on the train line , then the rest of Spain is within reach. There are excellent and frequent bus services. Cost wise it offers fantastic value for money. What a great place to sit , enjoy the brilliant weather and watch the World go by. Thanks to whoever made this.

  7. Andalusia doesn't exist. It's called Andalucia. There's a big difference between going on vacation somewhere and living there. I recommend, before any adventure, getting a good understanding of the place and visiting it beforehand. Things are sometimes not exactly as they seem. Cheers!

  8. Hi, I just found your channel. I like it a lot. Very informative!
I like the graphic you use (car moving from La Perla-Torremuelle to Malaga). What apps are you using?

  9. Great video. We went to all of these cities in the Fall 2024 too! Wish we could have met you. Next time! 😉

  10. What an excellent and informative video! Amazing job, the best video I have seen so far on the Costa del Sol. We are visiting Estepona next week to look at some properties for retirement so this video was super useful. The Pros and Cons were totally on point. Thanks for posting this, I'm going to check out your Estepona video now. 👍

  11. Good job, amigos 🙂 !
    Very helpful video, thanks!
Is there any city/town something like "adults only"? Not so family oriented?
    TIA

  12. I have a holiday home in la Cala and it’s my happy place can’t with to live there permanently thanks for sharing how lovely it is

  13. Good video. I live in the hills of Calahonda and love my view of the coast. I agree with many of your comments. I will say that I was surprised by how much I like Fuengirola. It has some cute neighborhoods; Los Pacos, Los Boliches, Las Lagunas. Small city vibe but safe and excellent for day to day living. Keep up the good work.

  14. Thanks for making this video, perfect for me right now, I'm on my scouting trip and have booked 8 nights in Malaga so that I can take day trips to many of your mentioned towns…will be wanting to rent an apartment for a year before I decide to buy! Look forward to more great content from both of you, take care 🙂

  15. I like watching videos about southern cities of Portugal and Spain, because I live in Southern California and believe the weather should be more or less the same there. Thank you for interesting videos

  16. Hello, just an aside. The capital of Andalusia is Seville. Malaga is the capital of the Costa del Sol region. Regards.
