I stayed at the Marconfort Griego Hotel in June 2023, two of us stayed on an all-inclusive holiday for 5 nights, booked with Jet2holidays. The hotel was part of a package, which included return flights from Leeds Bradford Airport, transfers to and from the hotel from the airport, 22kg luggage, 10kg hand luggage, selected seats on the aircraft, along with the 5 nights all-inclusive accommodation. The entire package cost for two people was £1,242, which was cheaper than I could do this myself, booking flights and hotels separately.
The film features views of the hotel exterior, reception, lobby, library, gym, coffee shop, lift / elevator, fourth floor corridor, a detailed bedroom review, swimming pool, rooftop sunbathing area, hotel entertainment, bars, restaurant and the buffets for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
This is a decent hotel, but it is a VERY BUSY hotel, it must hold 800 people or thereabouts, so consequently the pool area and restaurants always seemed busy due to the sheer number of guests. The food was very good, no complaints from me, the drinks were great and the staff were amazing, they all worked so hard and always with a smile. I really enjoyed my time here and would definitely stay here again in future.

If you are OK with visiting in November then plenty of hotel rooms right near the beach can be had for £50 – 60/night. eg the Barracuda, right where he is walking, charges £57.
When i started drinking l got 8 pints for a pound and went home with 8 pence, in 1977 a pint bottle of Heineken was 50 pence, 1992 a bottle of Becks in a lounge bar was a pound, 1993 l stopped drinking alcohol. How anyone can pay 10 euros for a pint of beer in Spain l will never understand. Where l live in Spain a 33cl bottle of beer costs 90 cents, coffee with milk 1.20, coast prices are a robbery.

The big beach bar at La Carehuela has evolved from a wooden beach bar called Miguel’s, I was there with my parents in 1986, I’m now 51 😂 was always a beautiful promenade leading upto Benalmadina Marina. The street behind the Prom was always vibrant with little bars, if ya could do a little video next time Kevin 👍
Love Benalmadena and Torremolinos but La Carihuela wins hands down

Great vlog Kevin,You walked past the hotel we stayed in last November, for a short break,It was quiet but still good,and with lovely weather,I'd definitely return again in the summer months for sure.The Ale-Hop shop you walked past,I went in and bought quite a lot of great things,its not really expensive at all.

Excellent video, I am enjoying these Costa del Sol videos. It's twenty odd years since I last visited Torremolinos, and of course it has changed a lot, that bit in front of McDonald's used to be a really busy main road, and the place opposite, the Clock Tower used to be a bank! We are seriously thinking of Torremolinos for next year, and travelling up and down on the train as you have done. Thanks for the inspiration!
