TORREMOLINOS MALAGA SPAIN OLD TOWN AND STEPS February 2022 [4K] Ms Fuengirola Vlogs

TORREMOLINOS is a town on the Costa Del Sol in southern of Spain. It is approximately 12km south of Malaga located between Malaga Bay and the Mijas Mountains. Torremolinos was originally a fishing village back in the 1920’s, but has been rapidly overtaken by tourism. Tourists will be most familiar with the beaches of Torremolinos in the pedestrian – only Call San Miguel, which is lined with shops, and run from the center of town down to the beach. The lower half is winding stair-stepped path, and is fun to descend and fortifying to climb. Torremolinos is a place which touristas, attractive, clean, safe haven for northern Europeans escaping the fiercer climes for the sunniest spot in Europe. It is also one of the most popular resorts for Spanish tourists, with some of the districts (especially La Carihuela) having as much of a Spanish feel as an international tourist one.

[4K] TORREMOLINOS WALKING TOUR – Town, Bars and Steps to the Beach

Join us for this 4k virtual tour of the town of Torremolinos in Málaga. Experience local life on as if you were there.

Filmed at the end of February on a Thursday, we start at the weekly Torremolinos market on Avenida Palma de Mallorca. This area has been newly pedestrianised and has lots of new greenery and trees.
We detour up to Plaza de la Independencia and then back down to join the main Plaza Costa del Sol for a view of the new pergola, water features and bronze sculptures.

We head down to Calle San Miguel, pausing for a view of Plaza de la Nogalera, site of the train station and a hub for the Torremolinos restaurants and bars that make up so much of Torremolinos nightlife.

We continue down to Plaza San Miguel, passing the Torre de Pimentel landmark as we take the famous Torremolinos steps down Calle del Bajondillo and Calle del Peligro to emerge at Playa Bajondillo – site of many lovely Torremolinos beach bars…
