La Malagueta beach is located a kilometer from the central historical part of the city. The road to the beach runs through a palm grove along the sea and a promenade on the embankment with a large number of shops and cafes. The beach itself is large, sandy, free.
The territory with a length of more than a kilometer and a width of up to 50 m is equipped with comfortable recreation areas, islands of greenery with palm trees and lawns. There is a rental of sun beds, sun loungers, umbrellas, free shower. There are kiosks with ice cream, soft and sweet drinks, souvenir shops.
Has a blue flag. This means that the beach meets international quality standards. Spain has the largest number of blue flag beaches in the world.
This urban beach is ten minutes from the city centre in the La Malagueta neighbourhood next to Muelle Uno.

La Malagueta Beach in Malaga (Andalusia), between the Port of Málaga and La Caleta beach is one of the most famous beaches for both tourists and locals. With dark sand and moderate swells, it’s 1,200 metres long and an average width of 45 metres long. It also has a palm tree-lined seafront promenade. It is the busiest beach in the city
This urban beach is near from the city centre in the La Malagueta neighbourhood next to Muelle Uno. It has ample leisure and entertainment offerings, as well as services like sunbed and beach umbrella rentals and sailing equipment. The beach has a children’s play area that turns it into a perfect place for a family fun day. Many foreigners usually come here, perhaps because of its proximity to the center of Malaga
This beach is next to the Real Club Mediterráneo de Málaga, Spain’s oldest yacht club and has been awarded the Blue Flag, a distinction awarded by the European Foundation for Environmental Education.

La Carihuela, an old fishing district located to the southwest of Torremolinos municipal area, has become one of the most visited summer destinations in Costa del Sol. Its inhabitants relied on the fruits of the sea until the explosion of the tourist boom in the 50s, during that time the development of restaurant businesses began which is mainly based on fish and the famous fried fish or “pescaíto frito.” La Carihuela draws locals and tourists for its weather along with the spectacular sea views, hutlike chiringuitos that serve local cuisines, and different water sports activities.
El Bajondillo, on the other hand is located between the beaches of La Carihuela and Playamar. It is an amazing expanse of beach 40 meters wide and 1 kilometer long, right in the center of the town and one of the most visited. An urban beach, it is highly rated by residents and tourists due to its variety of services. Any time of the year tourists can enjoy the sea breeze. El Bajondillo is an emblem of Torremolinos, known for its authenticity and tradition.

Located in the downtown district of the city of Málaga, in Andalucía, Spain lies the Malagueta beach. An urban beach with dark sand, La Malagueta has 1,200 meters long and 45 meters wide. It is a very popular beach due to its central location and accessibility. The beach has all kinds of services available with public toilets and shower areas present, children’s play areas, and hammocks and umbrellas for rent. There are also water sports equipment rentals available during the summerseason. “Chiringuitos” and beach bars that serve local foods can be found along the promenade.

La Malagueta Beach is a beach in the downtown district of the city of Malaga in Andalucía, Spain. It is an urban beach of dark sand found on the eastern coast of the city, between the Malaga port and La Caleta beach. It is about 1,200 meters long and 45 meters wide. It is a popular and frequented beach due to its central location, in the neighborhood of the same name. It has all kinds of services available: bathrooms, showers, children’s play areas, hammocks and umbrellas, “chiringuitos” or beach bars, stations for buses and so much more.
It is a very spacious beach that is located next to the eastern dock of the port of Malaga and that has traditionally been the meeting point where local fishermen used to take out the codend. In 2015, La Malagueta beach was awarded with the blue flag and is one of the most visited throughout Malaga due to its location and easy access.

Malaga City’s Playa de la Malagueta (La Malagueta Beach) is one of the busiest beaches in the center of the city. During the summer the coast gets filled with lot of locals and tourists due to its close proximity to Málaga.
This well-known beach has sand directly brought in from the Sahara to make it wider. There are plenty of restaurants, “chiringuitos” and beach bars that offer wide variety of local foods. There are also large areas where you can do outdoor exercises. La Malagueta is one of those beaches that’s highly recommended both by day and by night.
