Málaga is a city and municipality of Spain, capital of the province of the same name and it is located in Andalucía, in the south part of the country. It is located at the western end of the Mediterranean Sea and in the south of the Iberian Peninsula, about 100 km east of the Strait of Gibraltar.

The city has been declared a Historic Site, since few cities in the world present such a wide overlap of traces of the passage of civilizations throughout the centuries, both from the East and from the West, in such a small urban space. Phoenician, Punic, Roman, Arab, etc., remains turn the city center into an authentic historical composition in which monuments such as the Roman Theater, the Alcazaba, the Cathedral, the Customs House, the Jewish Quarter and a rich buried archaeological heritage.
